Huon Creek Retreat accommodation easily caters to family's and groups of up to 14 guests. The spacious four bedroom, two bathroom home plus glamping is fully equipped with everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Offering a range of premium bedding options, our accommodation features spacious indoor and outdoor living areas, including a heated outdoor hydrotherapy spa, all with stunning views of the countryside. With exclusive access to one group, privacy and accessibility make it perfect for family and friend reunions, group getaways and corporate team building workshops.

Huon Creek Retreats natural beauty and facilities provide a versatile venue for a variety of events. Catering to both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations. The serene setting is perfect for family reunions, and group gatherings, providing a peaceful backdrop where generations can come together in private to create lasting memories. The retreat is also well suited to corporate events, retreats and team building workshops providing a tranquil environment free from interruption. Additionally the stunning outdoor spaces make it an ideal choice for weddings, milestone birthdays and special occasions.

Huon Creek Retreat exceeded expectations. Quiet and private with magical views. It was the perfect country getaway, with cows and sheep all around. Loved everything about our stay, the highlights were the heated spa and firepit, both offered stunning panoramic views especially sunset. Overall, the property is well kept with a lot of personal touches, thoughtfully catering for families, comfy King beds, clean and equipped with everything you need. Hosts were helpful before and during stay, provided detailed information and support. Planning to return. Highly recommended!

The place was exactly as described. Its secluded but equipped with all modern day amenities that you may require. The outdoor glamping experience was a nice touch to accommodate larger groups like ours. Laura is excellent with communication and the instructions and constant check-ins prior to arrival couldn't have been more comprehensive and timely. Generally with seclusion comes poor connectivity but this place has excellent wifi speeds (200mbps+ Starlink?), which might prompt us to return for a longer staycation. Overall highly recommended.

Fantastic property in a beautiful location. 270° views of rolling hills and valleys. Spotlessly clean property. The hosts have thought of everything. Great collection of kids toys, kept our 1 and 4 year old entertained all week. Amazing, brand new spa in one of the best settings we've ever been in. 10 minute drive to good coffee and food (Arnold's market) yet feels a million miles from anywhere. 3.5 hour drive from Melbourne. Excellent communication.

Owners Laura and Danny have curated beautiful, generous spaces carefully tailored to bring people together – a sentiment that’s evident in every aspect of the home. From the refined yet comfortable living spaces to the fully furnished kitchen and dining area and the open fire on the back patio, everything has been considered to make you feel right at home.

The only downside? At some point you’ll have to leave.

Perfect home for families

We had an amazing time together staying at Huon Creek retreat. Laura was very attentive and answered all my questions. The bedding was comfortable and the kitchen well set up. Kids had plenty to do with trampoline, spa and toys that were supplied. We were a large group of families and everyone was impressed with the property. Beautiful landscapes and was nice to take a walk around the property. Thank you Laura for making this special stay so comfortable.

Getting There

Huon Creek Retreat is peacefully located at the end of a no through road, ensuring a tranquil and secluded environment for guests. Its conveniently just a 10 minute drive from Wodonga, Victoria, with easy access from Hume Freeway and Albury, NSW.

You may choose to access the region by air, flying into Albury Regional Airport, train via Wodonga station, or by road. Access by road takes approximately;

3 hours, 20 mins from Melbourne
3 hours 50min from Canberra
5 hours 40 mins from Sydney

For direction, please refer to map and access Huon Creek Road from the Wodonga end. Please note that google maps will suggest the unpassable 4WD track if travelling from the south.
