From the grand undercover area that spills onto the manicured lawns, or a stunning marquee, every space is surrounded by the spectacular views of the countryside, offering endless photo opportunities.

Ceremony

With three stunning backdrops of breathtaking scenery to use for your ceremony, each offering something special, from rolling green hills, to towering gums, to open wide valley views. We offer a large selection of event furniture that compliments the setting, just add your own personal touch to create a vibe that's uniquely yours.
Retreats
Hosting a wellness stay at Huon Creek Retreat offers the perfect blend of luxury and nature with comfortable, indoor and outdoor spacious areas for workshops and group discussions. All within close proximity to city facilities, vendors and supplies.

Milestone celebrations are the perfect opportunity to bring families together to create cherished memories. Whether its a festive gathering, birthday or anniversary these events allow loved ones an opportunity to gather and share in each others joy.
Celebrations within booked accommodation occupancy do not require approval and we're here to assist with planning, local recommendations and catering services to make the day a success. You can even capture the special moments with an onsite photographer.

Accommodation
Our luxury group accommodation offers a floor plan and bedding configuration to suit group stays, making it perfect for family and friends to stay connected and together whilst offering privacy. The spacious master suite with two external access points, and full ensuite.

Events
Complimenting our farm stay accommodation we offer small events to enable you to host private intimate celebrations and special milestones gatherings during your stay.
Tailored to suit your unique needs, we make it easy, providing a range of furniture, crockery, cutlery & glassware.
Starting at $1000 for gatherings up to 25 guests. Event fee covers insurance, furniture, additional resources used and waste removal.

Events Information
We provide a hands on personalised service with a flexible approach, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. Offering both hosted and self managed events depending on the size and needs of your group. For private celebrations or retreats within accommodation occupancy we have a range of additional furniture and facilities should you need. For larger gatherings or events with external vendors, we offer full hosting support to ensure everything runs smoothly.
*Please note accommodation bookings are for that purpose only, property access is reserved exclusively for booked guests, any gathering exceeding occupancy or event must be discussed and approved in advance.

We host a range of events, including weddings, family reunions, milestone celebrations, corporate retreats, and wellness retreats. For private celebrations or smaller events, we offer the option to self-manage, with additional furniture and facilities available upon request. However, larger gatherings or events involving external vendors, such as catering and entertainment, will be fully hosted by our team to ensure seamless coordination and to meet insurance requirements.

To ensure your event runs smoothly, we provide a dedicated venue host who will assist both before and during your event. This ensures you a reliable point of contact familiar with the property. If you require additional planning support, we can recommend trusted local vendors and wedding planners to help bring your vision to life.

With so many great options, enjoy the flexibility of choosing your preferred caterer. We have everything here for easy onsite preparation, our facilities include access to undercover spaces with power, water and bathroom for vendors use.
SEASON
Weddings are hosted Spring through to mid Autumn with a break over summer. Smaller or more intimate events year round.
CAPACITY
Capacity varies with each space and chosen furniture setup. An approximate guide below to gauge suitability.
Seated Capacity: 80 guests
Cocktail Capacity: More than 80 guests for cocktail-style events, allowing for a lively and informal atmosphere.
Marquee Option: Custom designed marquees to accommodate varying guest numbers.
Small Events: Up to 25 guests for self-managed events, perfect for intimate gatherings or small celebrations.
Parking: Approximately 30 Vehicles with guided parking

Everyone has different tastes and budgets. We offer two choices, hire a local vendor with bar service or take advantage of our BYO bar service. Supply your own beverages, choosing a selection of beer and wines to suit your taste and budget. We’ll take care of the rest.

Huon Creek Retreat does not have a liquor licence.
Which vendors can I use?
All welcome, enjoy the flexibility of choosing. To ensure suitability all vendors are to be approved, they must hold qualification/licences and insurance for the service they provide.
ARE YOU PET FRIENDLY?
Whilst we are a pet free property, if suitable, we make exceptions during hosted events for fur babies to join the celebrations.
EVENT SPACES
The undercover space, gardens and surrounds can all be utilised, offering flexibility for various setups and outdoor arrangements.
However, the accommodation is designed for more intimate capacity and cannot host events exceeding occupancy limits.
A newly created space within the accommodation compliments events with a large yet cosy open area. This versatile room offers a range of furniture and mirrors, making it perfect for guests to get ready or as an additional space for smaller event related activities.

A rehearsal will be scheduled the day before once set up is complete.
Pre/Post wedding celebrations
Additional gatherings can certainly be arranged, its always great to get everyone back together the next day, please discuss any requirements at the time of booking.
Bump In and Out Times?
Each tailored package will have varying timeframes to suit your requirements.
Capacity
Each space has different capacities depending on set up, seated/ cocktail. Our outdoor space can cater for approximately 80 guest seated and more cocktail.
A marquee is designed to suit guest numbers.
Parking
We have parking for approximately 30 vehicles. Larger events a bus will be required to transport guests.
mARQUEE
Love the idea of a Marquee wedding. Both day and night, a marquee will transform a space into something truly magical. Personalise from top to bottom, capturing the beauty of the surrounds and night sky with open air and clear ceilings or opt for more traditional designs. Perfect for larger weddings, as a stand alone, or to compliment the undercover area and gardens.
Pricing based on design, we'll organise on your behalf and have ready at bump in.

We only host a limited number of larger celebrations each year to ensure every events gets the attention and care it deserves.
